Give to Missio Dei

It takes resources to reach people. All of us together will have to contribute to see Memphis reached for Jesus.

When we look at the work of God in Jesus accomplished for us, what are we willing to withhold? The gospel calls us to radical generosity. We encourage you to trust God with your giving that is cheerful, sacrificial, and consistent as a part of your worship of Jesus and for the ministry and mission of His church.

When we are generous with others, we remind one another of the great generosity of our God. If you would like to make a one-time gift or set up recurring automatic giving online please follow the link below. Thank you for your generosity. We are called to serve God in every part of our lives and we have the opportunity and privilege to serve Him by giving cheerfully of our “first fruits.”  (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9)

Christ gave the ultimate sacrifice by giving of Himself, so we follow suit by gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel.

WHy we give

Although everything we have belongs to God anyway, God himself is a far more lavish, sacrificial giver to us than we could ever be in return. The death and resurrection of Jesus represent the most generous gift ever given–when the King of Glory gave up everything in order to reconcile us to God.

Missio Dei Church encourages members and regular attendees to follow the Biblical model of giving cheerfully. Our work is an effort to serve our Father in all things, and one of the beautiful ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving Him our “firstfruits” revealing trust in our King Jesus to take care of His people (2 Corinthians 9:7, Matthew 6, Proverbs 3:9). We call our members to give gladly to sacrifice for the sake of the gospel because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have is His.

Giving financially to the work of the local church out of our “firstfruits” is both a rejection of greed as an idol and an expression that all that we have is given to us by God and is to be used for his purposes (Matthew 25:14-30).

Giving generously, cheerfully, sacrificially and regularly (consistently) of your finances is beautiful act & biblical call as an expression of worship for all God has done in our midst. By living generously, we actively model the Kingdom of God where Jesus as King takes care of His people and we can freely act as a steward of His possessions through the church in our city to the nations. As believers we labor not to accumulate wealth or possessions for ourselves, but to steward God’s resources well and model a life that follows Jesus life and mission. When we are generous with others, we are reminding one another of the great generosity of our good God.

We consider it a great privilege to partner with so many people in the work Jesus is doing to build his church. To support this work of the ministry our finances are strategically planned to ensure we are a gospel-centered church displaying community as a worshiping family of disciples on mission who glorify god by making disciples.

Please consider helping give to God's work through our church  as we make Jesus known and seek to make His kingdom visible through our everyday life by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God and the good of all who live in the world beginning in Memphis.

If you’re a Christian who is not a member of our church who uses the website regularly and you feel compelled to give above and beyond the primary giving to your local Christian church and mission, we appreciate your support.
