Missio Dei Church has strategically partnered with four missionaries who we believe share our vision to make Jesus known and His kingdom visible. We are so excited in how Jesus is using them around the United States, Canada, and Germany. Pray for them with us as we find ways to encourage, help, and serve along side them as they make Jesus known and His kingdom visible. You can get to know a little about them below and learn how you can pray for each of them, their families, the church, and the city they work in.
Believers in Christ number less than one percent in Frankfurt, Germany, but believers in the local church are gaining a vision to raise up church planters to establish healthy new churches. The vision is for each new church to commit to planting ten more churches in the next ten years. Your gift to this project will help the Frankfurt Church Planting Center train an increased number of new church planters and send them out to establish gospel-spreading churches in unchurched communities throughout Frankfurt and beyond. With IMB strategic support, the center is already mobilizing new church planters as local German pastors identify catalytic new leaders and plant reproducing churches. Your support will catalyze a movement of the gospel in Frankfurt that leads to multiplying disciples, leaders, and churches, ultimately affecting not only German Frankfurt but the many unengaged unreached people groups that are flooding the city.

Ryan and Tami met in 2001 while working at Starbucks together. They married in 2005 and now have three children: Ava, Ryder, and Lincoln, as well as a dog named Wicket (obviously named after the most famous Ewok from Return of the Jedi). After serving as a worship pastor for three years, Ryan and Tami planted Redemption Bible Church in 2009 in the suburbs of Chicago, where they served for seven years. In the fall of 2017, the Huguleys arrive in Salt Lake and immediately got to work planting Ridgeline Church in Salt Lake County. We have several families who either have or are in the process of relocating to this area from around the country, and we plan to launch on Easter Sunday!

The Marinos serve as mobilizers — coaching, training and launching the next generation of cross-cultural missionaries who are taking the Gospel to people around the globe. Joshua & Christy do this through two distinct efforts: First, they work with existing missionaries to identify opportunities for new growth and ministry to unreached areas and people groups. Then they identify and recruit the apostolic leaders that are needed to fill those roles. Second, they come alongside emerging leaders here in the States who are called to be missionaries and coach them through the process of embracing, articulating and responding to the call to cross-cultural ministry.
Ben Lane is Lead Pastor of Coram Deo Baptist Church. He and his wife Sarah moved from Memphis, TN to Grande Prairie, AB to replant Ivy Lake Baptist Church in 2012. The Lane’s had a desire to serve the Lord in an area desperate for gospel witness and solid Biblical doctrine. The Lord allowed them to learn of a small group of believers in Northern Alberta in need of a pastor. In March 2012 they met the 13 members at the time, and 11 were between the ages of 18-22. The next month Ben was invited to pastor the church. By God’s grace the church has strengthened and flourished in the last few years. Almost all the young people that began the journey with them are still active members and have both matured in their faith and in community. The Lane’s are grateful to have been used by the Lord in this work. Ben and Sarah have three children and a great church family!
